speed up your PC

In this post, I am going to mention few tweaks on how to speed up your PC.

1.  Run CCleaner daily in your PC. It helps to clean the junk from your PC, thus making it fast.

2.  Run defraggler once in every 15 days. By default, windows comes with windows defraggler. Defragmentation is a process where the files in the PC were arranged in favor to the RAM so that it can access those files easily.
To start defraggler, click start-->All programs-->accessories-->System Tools--> Disk Defragmenter.
Click on Defragment disk to defrag the required disk.
If you are not satisfied with windows defraggler, you may get other defragglers by googling.
Note:  Don't run any applications/open any window while defragmenting the disks.

3.  Check for system errors once in every 15 days.
To do that, open My Computer.
Right click on any drive and select properties.
Navigate to Tools pane.
Click on "check now" in the error checking section.
A window will pop up as shown and tick those two boxes and then click Start.(This process takes much time).
Note: Don't run any applications/open any window while checking the disk for errors.

Troubleshoot:  While checking the C drive(or any other drive where windows is installed), it may prompt you to check after restart.

click Ok and after your next reboot, a black screen appears and let it do it's work until error checking is finished.

4.  You can also manually delete the temporary files by these methods:
Press windows+R(To open run window), then type 'recent' and press enter. Delete all the files in the recent folder.
Again type '%temp%' in the run window. Again delete all the files in the temporary folder.

5.  While installing a software, it will ask you to tick the option "create quick launch item"(something similar).

Don't enable that option because it will consume some processor speed while it exists on the quick launch tray.

  3. Yes, when the computer is running too slowly, it means that the cache or malware on your PC is clogged up https://yumdownload.com/defraggler , I'm struggling with this CCcleaner and Defraggler. In general, successfully... BUT! The main thing from time to time to monitor the PC and check the work load.
