Ubuntu OS for smartphones is out!

On october 17th Canonical announced the release of "Ubuntu 13.10", the free, open source operating system for smartphones, desktop and servers. Currently this OS is only made available for nexus and galaxy nexus phones(as officially said) and only for mobile developers. 




The full SDK and toolkit have been made available for developers. The Ubuntu SDK enables developers to easily develop apps and enriched with many features. 
Mark Shuttleworth, Founder of Ubuntu, is going to talk about open source mobile platforms at two key industry events in Silicon Valley. 
By default, the OS comes with some apps like calender, clock, weather, calculator, web browser etc., Facebook and Evernote apps are being developed by the Ubuntu community.
